Robert Norris: Man of Iron

Robert Norris is a three-time Guinness World Record holder and an independent endurance athlete born with Down syndrome. After a knee injury redirected him toward sport at age 12, he progressed from swimming and marathons to independently completing IRONMAN Arizona and becoming the first person with Down syndrome to finish a 50K ultratrail race.

The mission

Robert competes without guides and uses endurance sport to expand expectations for athletes with Down syndrome. His Man of Iron work connects record-setting performance with inclusion, sponsorship, and public speaking.
